Malaysia was ranked 48th out of 66 coun­tries in Inter­net broad­band qual­ity study con­ducted by Oxford Uni­ver­sity spon­sored by Cisco. This study was based on 24 mil­lion records from actual broad­band speed tests con­ducted by users around the world through www.speedtest.net . It has known for ages that we indeed have low­est broad­band qual­ity and most of us(internet users in Malaysia) already get used to it. Hope the broad­band ser­vices would be improved when HSBB fully rolled out. Read more here and here.

Ever won­der if local tel­cos would bring in Palm’s smart­phones to Malaysia? To date, we already have a few big play­ers of smart­phone arena in Malaysia, Nokia, HTC,Blackberry,Apple, just to name a few. But, there’s a rumour found @ Telco Talk Malaysia . Accord­ing to a post­ing, Digi is try­ing to bring Palm Pre to Malaysia. Let’s hope this rumour comes true.

HTC has just unveiled another Android based smart­phone, HTC Tat­too a.k.a HTC Click which will be first roll out in Europe next month and world­wide the fol­low­ing months.
